Collection Summary
I’ve thought for awhile that we often miss significant cues of what people are thinking and feeling when we are not focused on the non-verbal behaviors of those around us. The subtle gestures; the nuance in what we say and do covertly are packed with meaning, and overlooked.

Through light research I became fascinated with micro-expressions, which are defined as “a facial expression that only lasts for a short moment.” It is the innate result of a voluntary and an involuntary emotional response occurring simultaneously and conflicting with one another.
:
“So you thought
I looked a little unlike me
A little weak in the knees
Well, why not?
Since you made mincemeat out of me”
